I've had that happen too (simply not likewise frequently).  Usually, if information technology occurs, if I log onto Messenger then it will work ... non sure why, but information technology does.  I'm not convinced information technology is the device that is causing the upshot BTW.

Thanks for your respond. Logging into Messenger does not work for me, unfortunately. Equally I said, it tries to connect for several minutes, and then fails with the error message mentioned earlier.

I continue having this problem, Messenger and Live and Live e-mail work very very rarely on my mobile.

Can you delight provide me the link for asking technical support for Windows Mobile to Microsoft?
I did information technology one time already, merely I cannot discover the page anymore.

Dear Jack,

I tried what you suggested a few times. What happens is that sometimes I am able to log in afterward soft reset, some other times (most of the times really), I yet cannot log in.
Note that it may happen that I cannot log in, and then - without resetting - I am able to log in again later a few hours.

Also, I tried Nimbuzz as an alternative Messenger client. Information technology works all the time, and connects seamlessly even when Microsoft's fail. The problem of the Live Hotmail remains, though.

Non certain what to advise.  I'm not experiencing that issue.  I'm wondering if it is the specific expanse you are in.  If you travel to a different area, is it even so the aforementioned?

Aye, I tried unlike areas (within Glasgow, UK), also with high network coverage, and it is still the aforementioned. In fact, information technology does not connect even through the wireless network of my flat, so I believe information technology's not related with the network/operator.

Also, I recently upgraded to a beta version of Windows Mobile 6.5 through a customer-built ROM. Everything works great, but I have exactly the same issue with Messenger and Live Mail service. I wonder if it is related with my own live account? I could endeavor to use my second live account, even though then I will have to set up-up all the shared contacts again...
Some time ago Messenger was logging in, but then not delivering my messages. I contacted the back up, and they said it was a problem of the account and they stock-still information technology in a week or so. Except that now I accept a even worse trouble.

I don't really know what to do either, except to use some other Messenger client, and probably POP3 for email. This is not a skillful *solution*, though.

As much as a PITA as information technology is, information technology might be worth trying a second Alive account just to run across.  It certainly is worth the shot.

Beloved Jack,

I tried to change the live ID on my mobile to my other Live business relationship, but I had exactly the same connection problem already when connecting to the new Live account for the first time!

In addition, I remember it is a problem related to the way Live Mail and Messenger access to the data connection as:
1- If you effort to log in to Messenger the first fourth dimension, yous see that it's dialing a data connection and connecting. Then after 5 mins of spinning brawl yous become the error that can't connect. Now, if y'all disconnect the data connectedness, and try to log in with Messenger, you see the same spinning brawl, and afterwards a while the aforementioned error, simply this time it did not even dial a data connection!
2 - Via activesync, it logs in quick and straight!

Also, I found this thread in xda-developers in which this guy has got the same problem on a HTC Diamond:

I'm not sure what to advise mtcerio.  I am using my Touch Pro on a WiFi connection since I tin can't go cell coverage where I am rght now.  It logs on fine with WiFi and I am able to exercise it all.  When I am in a adept cell coverage area it also works fine.

As I indcated before, I have had experienced issues but if I logged onto Messenger so my Hotmail worked fine.  Not sure why that happened though.

I'm wondering if there is some special setting on your device that may be causing the issue like a proxy setting.

What device exercise you have?
